On the famous high paths of the Hörner group, the panorama of the entire Allgäu mountains unfurls in a true feast for the hiker's eyes. From the "kingly" look-out peak of the Riedberger Horn, which fully measures up to the classic Allgäu look-out mountains, you can even see the shining firn fields of the far-off Schesaplana and Säntis. |

In the Hörnerbahn's well-aired panorama cable cars, you'll have a comfortable seat while you glide up from 940 m to an altitude of 1540 m. Below, the green Iller valley of Sonthofen spreads out all the way to Oberstdorf. The higher you get, the grander is the view of the imposing Allgäuer and Lechtaler mountain chain. At the mountain station (sun terrace with free use of deck chairs!), you will be greeted not with steep and inaccessible mountains, but with gently rolling flowery slopes, whose biodiversity of flora is unique in the Allgäuer Alps. The plants enjoy ideal growing conditions on the humus-rich flysch-rock layers.
